DESCRIPTION:Show us your decorating skills! \nThe City of Onalaska is celebrating its 175th Anniversary in 2026\, the same year America is celebrating its 250th Anniversary. \nTo showcase pride in your city and nation\, a city-wide decorating contest is being held. Beginning June 1\, registration will be open to compete in any of the following categories: \n\nHome/Yard Decorating (Theme of America’s 25oth Anniversary)\nHome/Yard Decorating (Theme of Onalaska’s 175th Anniversary)\nBeautiful Yard (no theme\, colorful flowers\, pretty landscapes)\n\nJudging will be based upon execution of theme\, originality of design\, and curb appeal. \nTimeline: \nJune 1-24: Registration open online at https://www.onalaskawi.gov/175th \nJune 25-26: Judging will take place \nJune 27: Winners will be announced at 9:30 A.M. during the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Omni Center. *Do not need to be present to win. \nRules: \nHomes and gardens that are professionally decorated or landscaped should not enter the contest. \nHome/yard must be located with the City of Onalaska to be eligible. \nPrizes will be announced at a later date.
