DESCRIPTION:Show us your decorating skills! \nThe City of Onalaska is celebrating its 175th Anniversary in 2026\, the same year America is celebrating its 250th Anniversary. \nTo showcase pride in your city and nation\, a city-wide decorating contest is being held. Beginning June 1\, registration will be open to compete in any of the following categories: \n\nHome/Yard Decorating (Theme of America’s 25oth Anniversary)\nHome/Yard Decorating (Theme of Onalaska’s 175th Anniversary)\nBeautiful Yard (no theme\, colorful flowers\, pretty landscapes)\n\nJudging will be based upon execution of theme\, originality of design\, and curb appeal. \nTimeline: \nJune 1-24: Registration open online at https://www.onalaskawi.gov/175th \nJune 25-26: Judging will take place \nJune 27: Winners will be announced at 9:30 A.M. during the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Omni Center. *Do not need to be present to win. \nRules: \nHomes and gardens that are professionally decorated or landscaped should not enter the contest. \nHome/yard must be located with the City of Onalaska to be eligible. \nPrizes will be announced at a later date.

SUMMARY:Softball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Onalaska Parks and Recreation Department and the Onalaska Lions Club are pleased to announce the Onalaska Softball Tournament which will be held on Friday\, June 26th and Saturday\, June 27th. Friday games will begin at 5:30pm. Sunday\, June 28th will act as the rain date. Tournament will feature the following divisions\, each with a maximum of 6 entries each. Guarantee of 3 games each. \n-10 & Under\n-12 & Under\n-14 & Under \nWe will do our best to split gold and silver teams into separate brackets. However\, depending on number of teams registered\, we may need to combine at some ages. No elite/club teams. \nEntry fee is $250 per team. Entries are accepted on a first come\, first serve basis and payment is required in order to reserve a spot. Please contact Cory at 608-781-9560 or ccheck@onalaskawi.gov to confirm availability before sending a check. No refunds will be issued after the deadline of Friday\, June 12th. \n
