Vic Ferrari’s Symphony On The Rocks To Close Out 2017 Celebration
The Coulee Region has had a fair share of great entertainment at area celebrations including rock, country, jazz, blues and even classical music. Music lovers are in for a treat when Vic Ferrari headlines the Saturday night line-up at this year’s Celebrate Onalaska. Vic and his band were part of the music line-up at the 2016 celebration. This year Vic is back again but he’s bringing 26 of the best pop and classical musicians from around the Midwest.
Vic enjoyed performing at Celebrate Onalaska,” says Jeff Trotnic, a member of the planning team. “When discussing the line-up for this year we knew we wanted them back. When talking to the band they suggested we look at their symphony show. When we looked at their demo we knew this was something special.”
The energy behind the high-powered rock symphony show will have you wanting more. The show is packed full of your favorite hits from bands including the Beatles, Earth, Wind and Fire, Peter Gabriel, the Beach Boys, Journey, the Who and many others.
Symphony On The Rocks is set to take the stage on Saturday, June 24, at 9:00 p.m. on the main stage on the soccer fields located in Van Riper Park. The band will perform a 45 minute set leading into the Festival Foods Salute to the Fourth of July Fireworks at 9:45 p.m. The band will pick up again at the conclusion of the fireworks.
The show is free to attend. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome on the grounds.
